Your dreams are always pointing you in a direction, yet it seems a lot of the time we don't know what that direction is. Better yet, we refuse to see the direction because it doesn't align with what we think we want or need.
My dreams of late have to do with searching for something. Anything. You name it, I'm looking. The object is always different and they don't seem to be connected. So, I figure the theme is the search. My mind is focusing on what's missing. Yet, as I sit here and run through the years of my life what hasn't been missing? If you look at each decade of your life thus far, some of us a few more decades then others, we can see what we were working toward; what was missing. It seems to be a never ending cycle. But isn't that what transformation is all about? We should never stop growing, expanding our minds, our potential. So the search continues.
Sometimes, the answers seem so daunting. So mysterious, so out of reach. Yet other times, they have always been right there, glossed over for something more extravagant. I often ask myself, "why does this have to be so hard"? The answer, because nothing in my life has come easy and when it does I don't value it. I say I want it easy, but the truth is, I won't believe the answer then. Seem silly? Maybe, but we each have our own way of finding life's answers. Life meaning. Part of our own growth is to see the patterns of our lives. How our own thinking keeps us stuck and how our behaviors keep us safe. Transformation is reaching beyond your self, which is not safe. Are you willing to let go of all you know, to really search for what you want? Or, are you just going to dream about it and stay in the same old patterns as yesterday?
I'm ready dreamers, to begin a new chapter in my life. The ride will be wild and bumpy but in the end it's going to be marvelous. Happy searching. I hope you find what you need.
