In our nightly dreams patterns often emerge, though most of the time subtle. For me, many things show up in 3's. I call it the Power of 3, as to me it represents the trinity of Father, Son and Holy Ghost or the mind, body and spirit. Three in-one synthesizes all living things and is considered representation of Heaven.
If you're not particularly spiritual, 3 can embody wholeness and fullfilment. It's the manifestation of all our efforts, therefore it's a form of self expression.
Three embodies several hidden meanings, which of course can always include negative traits. I will not focus on those aspects, as my intention is to get you to see patterns in your dreams.
Once you begin to see objects, people or whatever in numbers you can begin to relate back to what that number means to you. It could be your birthday, an anniversary, and the like. However, the meaning of the 3 is not revealed until you look at the action of the dream. What are the characters doing in the dream? What is the end result of their behavior? How do you feel upon awakening? What colors are present during the dream-as I believe the colors correspond to our chakra's which gives you even more information to consider!
Don't get overwhelmed dreamers. Just try to start seeing the patterns and what those numbers mean to you. Then you can begin to unravel the meaning.
Have fun!

Cutting away the old. Rejoice in it.
This morning at 3 AM, I woke up almost panicked as I had a dream I killed a man by stabbing him with a knife in his chest. Then it moved on to 3 women at an agency demanding that I do a ballarine pose in order to be feed. Well, that's the gest of it. I won't go into to further details.
When you have a dream of killing, don't worry, as it represents a part of yourself which is no longer serving you and is being cut way (the knife). It's letting you know that old attitudes, thoughts and/or behaviors are being disguarded and that you're allowing yourself to grow. This is a very powerful, positive symbol that you can rejoice in.
Personally, I've been waiting for a sign that my inner work was creating the changes I so desired and I received confirmation. It's like a memo stating, yes you're on the right track, keep it up. However, the ballet pose indicates that my soul is still unsure of what that new self is going to be. I'm okay with that, as I'm still trying to figure out the bigger picture and know more work is ahead of me.
When you think of your situation, what things are no longer serving you? What do you feel is keeping you stuck in old patterns that just aren't any fun or seem like a dead end? Take a look at your life and see what commitments you've made that are draining vs fun and of interest. This will allow you to further reflect on what is important to you and what you can let go, maybe at least eventually. I just want you to begin to notice in all of your daily activities, of where your enjoyment comes from and where it's drained away. This will allow you to see where some changes may be needed so you have more satisfication in your life.
We all have areas in our lives that needing trimming from time to time. Get rid of that dead wood, that's holding your back from feeling happy. Maybe it's old feelings from the past, a troublesome friendship, or issues with your physical health. Are you tired of being sick and tired? If so, help is out there to get you to where you want to be, you just have to be willing to ask the right people.
So, dreamers have no fears as your dreams want to lead you to health and wholeness.
Blessings,

What's the message?
Each morning I wake from my slumber to sit for a few minutes to write out my dreams from the pervious night. Sometimes, I recall four or five. Other times just a fragment of one. Some stick with me throughout the day and others just seem to be left overs from the day's happenings.
So, when do you decide to work with a dream or just let it drift away from memory? Good question, since I've have a stock pile of journals with dreams that haven't been interpreted yet.
If you look at dream experts like Carl Jung, Jermy Taylor, and Robert Gongloff, just to name a few, they believe that each and every dream holds great significance for expanding your awareness about yourself, others and the world. Dreams expand your imagination and your ability to problem solve as they allow you to evolve into your "higher self". Now that's powerful stuff!
I was hooked on this dreaming stuff and was reading anything I could get my hands on. However, I was still baffled by the amount of information coming to me. I felt responsible to sit and work with it for hours throughout the week. What I found is, that's no fun and creates frustration, which in turns blocks your imagination and no message is received.
I decided then and there, I needed a break from reading about dreams and just let the dreams flow. I wanted to get comfortable, just dreaming. Yes my fellow dreamers, just dreaming. Once you let those flood gates open, it's amazing what pours in. I stopped having expectations of having dreams or what they could mean. I stopped hoping for a solution or an insight to the message. Do I still want to receive a message? You bet, but I seldom go to sleep hoping one is on the way. I had to let go of the process. Stop controlling the flow. I realized when I was dreaming, I was saying in my dream "I'm dreaming" and then wanting to control it, but then the dream would stop or I'd just wake up. Well, that was no fun.
Now I just go to sleep and don't focus on recalling or the hidden message. Upon awaking, I write down as much as I can and let the rest go. I'm only compelled to interpret what I sense is important. I've let my intution begin to guide this process. The rest is left for times when I want to go back and try working a dream using various techniques just for FUN.
So, the bottom line is dreamers. Your dreams do mean something, but don't get caught in a cycle of finding the message in each one. You will know when a dream has particular significance for you to pay attention to. Then spend your energy working with. Don't forget to use different mediums in the process; drawing, a poem, single out one element and so on to assist in your uncovering its intention.
But remember too, just to sit with it. Meditate on it and more should be revealed.
Happy dreams,
Dreamer

Traveling on to become your best
A common dream is one of traveling. Traveling can signify the need for rest and relaxation, a change is needed in your routine, or that to look at something in a new way.
Last night I dreamt I was in a gift shop or book store and came across an old travel book. Can't recall for what country. I open it up and realize someone has left numerous pieces of paper inside with personal notes about interactions with her children, fun travel facts, and photos. I realize it belongs to a woman at work and she must have mistakenly denoted the book. I feel urged to give it back to her and the dream goes on, but that was the important part.
A book is information. If the book is open it could mean I grasp it's content easily. If it's closed I'm not prepared yet. Also, it can mean I'm making progress towards my goals. Look to what the book is about. In this case travel. Does it mean I'm moving on from something or that I want a vacation? The book in this case, didn't seem to do with me, but about another person. It belonged to someone who had cherished memories hidden inside. Travel often times is with those you love and cherish, thus creating memories. What is it that I need to give back to someone? What memory needs to be created or revisited?
I have fond memories of travel with my parents and husband. I'm currently considering a trip this winter. But what nags at me is the woman in the dream. What is her role? Or is that yet to be known?
What I do know is travel provides information, which you often share with others. Don't discount other people's experience, as their knowledge is valid. I will keep my eyes open for an experience on the horizon and how I may aid someone in their travel, their life journey, their cherished moments.
Traveling is not just about going to a new place, but an inner journey to fulfill who you are meant to be. You're current state of restlessness is a sign that a change is wanted and that you are ready. Enlist the help of others, as no signficant change can be created alone. You're in a preparation phase right now, which is perfect as you're gathering information, perhaps from a book to travel to your new higher self.
I say happy travels to you my fellow dreamer. As life is rich and full. Enjoy your journey.
