Dreams are weird, funny and often times indiscernible. Rather then giving us a clear message, they often leave us scratching our heads, simply forgetting they happened at all. Until you get that one dream that just blows you away. You're either scared to death so you'll never forget it, have such a feeling of serenity you want to go back, or your dream wasn't your dream at all. What???
How would I know a dream wasn't mine you ask? I don't, but it just feels that way.It was so different than anything else I've experienced it didn't seem to come from me. Am I evolving? Becoming more attune to my soul? Going deeper into the depths of my psyche? God, I hope so! But I have no explanation for the event.
Here's the scenario. I'm dreaming that I'm with my husband in a "bad" part of town. It's night out, of course. We are walking. Each street or alley has two males either standing or sitting in a car. They look menacing. We avoid them. We duck into a building. But it doesn't feel "right". We are trying to decide what to do. A blond female now joins us. She is being loud and we feel she's drawing attention to our location. We tell her to shut up. Men are coming up a stairwell. They have on construction clothing. Hard hats, safety vests, and boots. We are looking for a way out without running into the men. The female and I run out a door. She is lagging behind so I'm almost dragging her. We are running down the street. I see chained linked fences and business store fronts. We need a place to hide. I see pieces of equipment for carnival rides so we go there. I tell the chick to lay down as flat as she can and don't even think of popping her head up to look. She's face down. Now, I'm looking to see if the men are following us and I see them searching, but there is only an outline of their bodies. You can see through them. I feel light as a feather now. I can feel the wind on my skin. Now, I see other people, their images more solid, dressed in period clothing from the late 1800's. A man and a woman. The woman has a black hat on with a red flower on, facing the front. They are talking about something. I can't quiet hear. I see a western store front and people coming and going. I smell horses. The men searching are still present and are walking through the couple, unnoticed, even though it appears they collided. I'm floating now. I'm no longer concerned with the men. I'm watching the other figures. The man and woman walk down the dirt road towards a carriage. They seem unhappy. It's daylight now. I'm being pulled back into my body. I feel the sun on my skin. I'm with my husband now. We are near an abandoned school. The front of the school is lined by dead trees. I see a white car with a tree sticking out it's back window, bending from the wind. I wake up.
I'm not going to analyze the meaning of either dream, as it's more important to think about two dreams going on at once. I have never experienced this. Have you? I would love to hear from you and get your thoughts about it. The implications could be positive or negative or both. It's so interesting. The mind never ceases to amaze me. The biggest thing for me, is the man and woman were not interacting with me the dreamer. It's as if I was not even there. The dream didn't appear to have any connection to myself, as emotionally I wasn't connected to it rather than it crowding out my own dream. I focus on emotions, as when we discuss an experience, we utilize emotions to determine the meaning of interactions. Though, I did observe they "seemed unhappy".
Maybe the message is to keep my mind open for what I think isn't possible. Weigh in. Love to hear from you.
Blessings,
Dreamer
